Vivian Schiller made headlines last fall when it was announced she would be leaving her post at NYTimes.com — where she’d led the team responsible for the Times‘ much-admired Web overhaul — to become president and CEO of NPR. I am thrilled to have met her. I could live without television but could not without NPR. WNYC has interesting intelligent programing that i find so interesting that if i miss it during the day I will stream it at night. We had a nice interaction and I look forward to working with her again.

Stephen J. Dubner is an award-winning author and journalist who lives in New York City. He is the co-author, with Steven D. Levitt, ofFreakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything. He is also the author of Turbulent Souls: A Catholic Son's Return to His Jewish Family(1998), Confessions of a Hero-Worshiper(2003), and a children's book, The Boy With Two Belly Buttons (2007).
Freakonomics, published in April 2005, instantly became an international best-seller, with more than 1.5 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The presidential suite is indeed presidential since it is where POTUS actually stays when in town.
Apparently Mr Hilton, Paris Hiltons' Grandfather is giving his fortune to charity. Hilton's fortune will go to his family's foundation, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which works to alleviate the suffering of the world's most disadvantaged, with an emphasis on children and support for the work of Roman Catholic nuns. Grants go to causes such as stopping trachoma, the world's leading cause of preventable blindness in Africa; helping homeless families in the U.S.; and providing clean water in Mexico.

I received an education in formalwear at the famous retailer Klienfeld Manhattan. We went to Klienfelds, which carries the largest selection of couture wedding dresses, designer exclusives, eveningwear. I found THE glove shop just 2 blocks from the studio, LaCrasia.com The guy who runs the place I see all the time walking his dog. For some reason he and my dog Luke are mortal enemies.

Shelan is from Great Britian living in the States and can sing like a bird. We had been planning this shoot for about two weeks. She needed publicity photos album cover artwork and website photos. We started in the studio as is my habit and then moved on to shoot location work.

Shooting photos of musicians is what I love to do most. From a photographers standpoint, there is complete creative freedom. My dream job come true. Shelan was a pro who had everything ready for our shoot. She even had shot a test shoot with another photographer the week before.
